Sometimes the work just ‘talks to people’ and when that happens it’s an absolute joy knowing I have painted a special piece that communicates so powerfully. I live for these moments!

Looking back at 2023, decided I definitely am a multi passionate creative, I love learning and youโre never too old ๐
Challenged myself with learning a contemporary impressionistic style; gaining knowledge in complementary colours, values, using new paint/ brushes/surfaces.
Continued advancing skills in digital design and pattern repeat techniques.
For me 2024 will be about about merging these new skills into my art practice with focus and commitment.

New special painting done from a memory and feeling of walking into the water one morning at The Pass, Byron with @erica_schofield about 1998. We saw mother and calf whales playing, then a light shower of rain happened, we stood inside a glistening magical rainbow ๐ so beautiful and emotional - pure joy! ๐
